Six Sentence Sunday
#sixsunday has a hero who’s a little too full of himself in my foodie romance, CLOSE TO THE HEAT 2. He has no idea that Chef Ginger is about to prove to him that he’s not irresistible.

He wanted the ten grand and he wanted to get on Ginger’s team. Whatever the producers were going to do about switching his competition around needed to go in his favor if he was going to accomplish both things. The four people who seemed to be in charge of the final decision huddled together, their attentions collectively wandering to the contestants. Ginger’s eyes softened with each sweep past Lee, but he couldn’t get a good sense of what might be on her mind. Surely she felt the heat generating between them and would, at the very least, want to see what would happen when the two of them were in close proximity.
Of course she would.

I love his confidence — which means he’s about to crash and burn, right? LOL Great six.
The kitchen will be burning up if he gets on Ginger’s team, me thinks! I hope they’ve got some fire extinguishers at hand 😉
Excellent six, Dee — love how you set the scene perfectly; his second guessing his chances, and how he notices Ginger seemingly considering him while the judges make their decision.
That last line makes me think things aren’t going to go his way. lol.
Another cliff hanger. Trouble ahead, maybe. Super six!
Love the way the pic compliments your six. I’m very curious about what’s going to happen next.
Well, really. Who wouldn’t? LOL!
He certainly is full of himself. I look forward to her shutting him down. LOL Great six! 🙂
Definitely trouble ahead! Chemistry and trouble = a great combination. Great tease!
Love that she’s going to resist him… but just for the time being, right? 😉
